LION BABE has been teasing their next album House Of LION BABE since last May, and its arrival is imminent. After keeping fans on the hook by dropping one fiery and fierce house single after the other from the project, the dynamic duo and power couple have announced that House Of LION BABE will be released this Friday, March 22nd.
Jillian Hervey and Astro Raw posted a special video message across their LION BABE socials today to share the surprise news and the unique way they’re releasing the album now that they’re independent artists.
“As many of you know we have been building the House of LION BABE for a minute now. Dipping our toes into the dance world and turning up the tempo in our lives as new parents and independently with our music journey,” LB wrote in the video’s caption. “This next project is another labor of love, and this time we are in yet another new phase of life, feeling and inspiration.”
They went on to share how their fans will be able to access the album on Friday. “We are SO excited to be releasing this next album through EVEN, a pro artist platform, that allows you all the buy our work directly from us,” they wrote and gave folks more selling points in the video itself.
“This is for our OG fans, this is for the people who have been with us since ‘Treat Me Like Fire.’ We just really want to give you something that’s intimate and exciting,” Jillian said before thanking their supporters profusely. Astro Raw then directed everyone to visit them on EVEN where they have some cool things in store for House Of LION BABE’s release.
When House Of LION BABE goes live on the EVEN platform, people will be able to pay what they want and gain access to the digital album with options to order it on CD and vinyl. In addition to the music, there will be exclusive access to LION BABE merch, special video content, a virtual meet and greet and the possibility to get a VIP upgrade or invite to a House Of LION BABE Experience Event.
LION BABE describes House of LION BABE as “bringing the best elements of what we create and highlighting it through a dance music lens.” They haven’t shared the album’s final tracklist yet, but we have our fingers crossed that all of their recently released jams – “Harder,” “YaYa,” “Bonita Applebum,” “Thinkin Bout You,” “Body Work,” “Love Another Time” and “Prototype” – make the cut. We’ll find out when House Of LION BABE drops on EVEN this Friday.
