Usher is on top of the world. Not only is he the King Of R&B with a banging brand-new album COMING HOME in heavy rotation, he is now the King Of The Super Bowl Halftime Show. Usher’s unapologetically Black and Atlanta AF, star-studded career retrospective for his Super Bowl LVIII Apple Music Halftime Show is officially the most watched halftime performance of all time. He made history on the field and more precious memories in Las Vegas when he got married to the mother of his two youngest children Jennifer Goicoechea in a private ceremony. He is living his absolute best life, and the good news keep coming from his camp with the announcement of even more additions to his upcoming concert tour.
His USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour keeps getting bigger and bigger. After unveiling the original 17-city, 24-date road trip, he added an additional 17 dates before this past weekend’s festivities. After showing up and showing out at Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday night, on Monday morning he extended the tour with 10 more dates and new cities. Then on Tuesday, he tacked on seven additional dates.
We did the math, and the USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE TOUR is now on track to hit 25 cities for 58 shows – so far. The tour’s start date has been moved up to Friday, August 16th, and it will rightfully kickoff in Atlanta at State Farm Arena for two nights before returning to the A in October for the previously announced concerts there. Another previously announced city that’s also gotten an additional show is Dallas, which brings its total to three.
The tour will no longer end on Halloween in Chicago. It’s been extended into November with new cities Minneapolis, Vancouver, Seattle, Las Vegas, Anaheim, Phoenix and Houston now in play and each getting two nights. After all the additions and adjustments, USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE will conclude in Houston on Friday, November 29th at Toyota Center. Or, at least that’s the case for now.
Usher is rolling out new tour dates at a steady clip, so we have a feeling that he’s got more on the way as he plans his way around North America. While we wait and anticipate where else the USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour will pull up, visit his website where you’ll find more information and links to all ticket presales and general sales.
