Watching the talented Tinashe do her thing is always a treat. Many of her fans had the pleasure of seeing her during her recent BB/ANG3L Tour, which wrapped on February 15th in Chicago. However, if you didn’t make it out to the show, Tinashe has you covered. The performer recently released a long-form visual performance she’s calling The BB/ANG3L EXPERIENCE that features each of the songs from her recent effort BB/ANG3L. And believe us when we tell you that it is a sight to behold.
The Mike Ho-helmed visual takes us through each song from the album, though she breaks from the EP’s sequencing to keep us going. It begins with “Tightrope” as she shows us that she’s one of the best movers and shakers in the game. She dips in and out of intricate choreography that comes courtesy of Shay Latukolan while moving through minimal, stylized sets with her crew of dancers.
From there, things just get better as she moves and proves through the EP’s cuts with skill and agility that very few of her peers can match. There are so many key moments to witness here. But perhaps the biggest standout is the section featuring her song “None Of My Business,” which features Nashe and four other dancers and five spotlights. It’s a deceptively simple setup that pays off big in terms of watchability.
