Mary J. Blige celebrates her birthday this year with the premiere of a brand-new music video. After the success of her most recent single “Still Believe In Love” (the song is sitting pretty atop Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for a third week), MJB rewinds the clock to 2022 to revisit the deluxe edition of her gold-certified, GRAMMY-nominated album Good Morning Gorgeous. Mary presents fans with a visual for the track “Gone Forever” featuring Remy Ma and DJ Khaled.

For the hip-hop soul bop that sees Blige letting a dude who tried to play her know just how much he played himself, director Eif Rivera follows Mary and Remy to the club. The birthday girl pulls up in a white SUV and steps out in a fly white catsuit, fur boots, short fur jacket and dripping in ice. Following a brief cameo by Khaled to let everyone know that this is indeed “another one,” Remy greets her at the entrance and they strut inside to their VIP area looking like the stars that they are. The ladies pop bottles, raise their glasses to the sky and get jiggy with their friends while the club goes up around them.

In between scenes of Mary and her girls flossing and partying, we get solo shots of her singing “Gone Forever” in a fresh Louis Vuitton LV Lovers beret and bomber jacket ensemble accented by her own Sister Love branded earrings. Blige and Remy bring us another fashion moment in their performance scenes together where Mary rocks a red and black fur over a matching LV bathing suit and Ma flaunts her figure in a sheer black catsuit.

Mary J. knows how to have a good time and always looks fabulous while doing so. But that’s been her M.O. since the beginning – ain’t nothing changed but the date. And on this date, join us in raising a toast to the Queen Of Hip-Hop Soul and wishing her a very happy 53rd birthday. Tap in below to watch “Gone Forever,” where you’ll likely ask yourself “53 where?” when you see Mary in action.
