There’s good news and bad news when it comes to the 2024 Lovers & Friends Fest.
The good news is that the festival, now in its third year, is returning to Las Vegas on Saturday, May 4th with another massive lineup of R&B, hip-hop and pop artists on tap. The bad news is that tickets are already sold out in case you didn’t get a chance to grab yours. However, there’s a glimmer of hope and more potential good news because Lovers & Friends Fest has hinted on social media that they may be adding a second day to the popular festival. In that event, there will be even more opportunities for people to witness performances by the over 80 artists who have been booked to perform.
Usher may have completed his Las Vegas residency in December, but he isn’t kissing Sin City goodbye just yet. After he sets it off at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in February, he’ll do the same as one of the 2024 Lovers & Friends Fest headliners. Mr. Raymond will be performing his iconic album Confessions in celebration of the project’s 20th anniversary.
Before she embarks on her Together Again Summer 2024 Tour, Janet Jackson will be another headliner at this year’s Lovers & Friends. Attendees may just get a sneak preview of her updated show that she’ll be performing this summer.
Janet is one of many R&B queens who’ll take the stage during the festival. The R&B roster includes Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Ciara, Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Brandy, Monica, Kelly Rowland, JoJo, Mya, Kelis, Keri Hilson, Tweet and Amerie. Besides Usher, the men of R&B will be repped by Ne-Yo, Craig David, 6LACK, Robin Thicke, Tyrese, Tank, Ginuwine, Jeremih, The-Dream, Mario, Lloyd, Jon B, J Holiday and Iyaz.
With Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese on the bill, we fully anticipate a TGT reunion to take place. But even if that doesn’t happen, there are more than enough R&B groups on board to entertain all the music lovers and friends in attendance. Get ready for TLC, Jodeci, Majid Jordan, SWV, Xscape, Pretty Ricky, Dru Hill, Next, Nina Sky, Total, Blaque, 702 and 112 to set it off.
Although R&B will be in its bag at the 2024 Lovers & Friends Fest, hip-hop will come correct with a rack of talent lined up. Look out for Lil Wayne performing his album Tha Carter III, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Ludacris, Nelly, Ja Rule, Akon, T-Pain, M.I.A., Timbaland, Eve, Sean Paul, Method Man, Redman, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Fat Joe, T.I., Ma$e, E-40, Lupe Fiasco, Too $hort, Cam’ron, Twista, Juvenile, Paul Wall, Trina, Ying Yang Twins, David Banner, Lil Flip, Plies, Mims and J-Kwon.
Pop artists will also be seen and heard on the multiple stages at Lovers & Friends. Pop music aficionados can look forward to performances by Backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado, Jason Derulo, 98 Degrees, Lumidee and Paula DeAnda.
