Tyla is in a giving mood this December. Since the first of the month, she’s gifted us with three new singles, confirmation that her self-titled debut album is coming, world tour dates and yet another exciting television performance. With Christmas mere days away, her benevolence continues with the release of the official visualizer for “Butterflies.”
The clip expands on the teaser that Tyla premiered on her socials. The singer gingerly steps onto a set draped in sheer seafoam fabric and white feathers. Aside from the decor, the sole focus is on Tyla, and the camera adores her. She appears cool and confident, but her tear-stained face tells a different story. Her soft vocal floats like the airborne feathers while she sings of a tainted love that has a hold on her heart. Even when she tries to move on from him and his lies, the butterflies he makes her feel keep pulling her back in.
With visualizers for “Truth Or Dare” and now “Butterflies,” we anticipate the full visual for her third new single “On And On” to arrive very soon. Epic Records isn’t half-stepping when it comes to Tyla’s album rollout. With a little over two months until TYLA’s March 1, 2024 release date, we cannot wait to see what’s next in her campaign for world domination.
