If you’ve been keeping up with Tatyana Ali on social media, then you may have noticed that she’s been teasing another return to music. The multihyphenate has been busy as a wife and mother of two, but she’s picking the mic back up to share her voice once again. In a year that saw her debut album Kiss The Sky celebrate its 25th anniversary as her second release, the EP Hello, comes up on its 10th anniversary next year, Tatyana is ending 2023 with her long-awaited third project, the holiday EP All I Have.
“I have a musical offering on the way just for you!” she wrote on Instagram and Facebook earlier this week and thanked her fans for all their encouragement over the years. She ended her caption with the news that everyone wanted to hear: “All I Have is coming soon. My gift to you.”
The message accompanied a video of a new song entitled “Flow” that featured Tatyana in the studio with various musicians, producers and personnel during her recording sessions. She begins the jazzy tune with a little spoken word flow. “All I have is my voice, my spirit, my heart, the truth as I know it,” she said before proceeding to sing about reclaiming her gift with the right people at the right time, in God’s time.
She also popped up on Access Hollywood to perform “Flow.” Dressed in a black and white gown and standing in front of a festive fireplace and Christmas tree, Tatyana stepped up to the mic and sang down. Her live vocals sounded amazing as she shared her inspirational song and ended the performance with holiday greetings to all.
“Flow” is one of seven songs that will be featured on Tatyana Ali’s All I Have. The EP has a mix of covers and original songs such as the lead single. She hasn’t shared the project’s release date yet, but with Christmas fast approaching, we assume it’s coming soon. Tatyana is excited to get this creation out into the world for people to enjoy and remember the reason for the season.
“Never forget whose you are. This season is a time for us to remember. When the road gets rough, His plan is greater than anything we can make up. Find encouragement in the truth. He is always with us,” she wrote on her socials to profess her Christian faith while sharing the EP’s front and back covers.
