Beyoncé has a lot to celebrate. Chief among her myriad reasons is the success of her concert film RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ. The epic movie nabbed the No. 1 spot at this weekend’s box office with a $21 million opening take. As fans and the Beyhive rejoice, the singer also offers a surprise drop of new music to celebrate with her song “MY HOUSE.”

"MY HOUSE" keeps up the energy that Bey has offered on her most recent efforts, with the singer tapping into the rap persona she unleashed alongside hubby Jay-Z on EVERYTHING IS LOVE and mixing it with the house music influence of RENAISSANCE.

The first half of the The-Dream-produced song starts brash and bombastic with menacing horns and synths as Beyoncé gets downright grimy while repping her Houston roots. The song then takes a sharp turn into icy, cool synths as she calls on all who follow her to show love or get out of the way. “When I grow up I’m gon’ buy me a (house) / Make love in the (house) / Stay up late in the (house),” she chants. “Don’t give a f**k about my (house) / Then get the f**k up out my house.”

If we’re being honest, “MY HOUSE” doesn’t hold a candle to the more-infectious grooves housed on RENAISSANCE. But it does serve as a triumphant statement for another banner year in the life of Beyoncé. Join in on Queen Bey’s house party when you stream “MY HOUSE” below.
