Before Saint Harison starts his sold-out U.S. tour tonight in Hollywood, he took his talents across town to the Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage last night. The British belter made his U.S. late-night TV debut with a stunning performance of his viral hit “ego talkin’.”
The track from his debut EP lost a friend has blown up since he performed it on COLORS back in May. The ensuing “ego talkin’” Riff Challenge has had TikTok in a chokehold for the past few months with everyone trying to replicate Saint’s range. He showed up with that range to Jimmy Kimmel Live! and showed out.
Accompanied by his band of two (a keyboard player and guitarist), the minimalist stage was free of any decorations or props with the exception of lit candles arranged behind the musicians. The lighting brought all the drama with rich hues appearing onscreen at the rear of the stage and bathing the room in color. The color that stood out the most was Harison’s signature pink hair, though, but nothing could distract from his flawless vocal performance. The “ego talkin’” riff was no challenge for him as he made light work of the entire song and left anyone watching awestruck.
Saint Harison has more impressive vocals in his bag, which he’ll bring with him to all the cities on his aforementioned U.S. tour.
