Thanksgiving is almost upon us and that also means that the Black Friday deals are piling up. While we can’t tell you where to spend your dollars this Black Friday (or Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, for that matter), we can tell you that supporting a Black-owned business is always a good look. Google believes that as well, which is why the search giant is putting out its Black-Owned Friday campaign for a fourth year. This time, however, they’re teaming with the unstoppable force that is Keke Palmer to soundtrack the occasion with “Black-Owned Friday (100% Supporting).”

The campaign, which tapped into the star power of Ludacris and Flo Milli last year, pays homage to a club classic as Keke revamps the Crystal Waters hit “100% Pure Love” to put a spotlight on Black-owned businesses.

The promotional music video opens with Keke channeling the ’90s dance star with a slicked-back ponytail and black leather outfit. She then begins to dance it up on set while scenes of her stopping by several shops to let her dollar circulate within the community are spliced in to bring the point home. It ultimately ends with Keke connecting with Crystal herself before every Black business showcased in the video gets a shoutout.

With SoulBounce itself being a Black-owned business, we wholeheartedly approve this message. You can get more info about Google's campaign, the businesses featured, tools to help business owners and the many, many ways you can support the community by visiting g.co/blackownedfriday or simply searching “Black-Owned Friday” on Google. But before you do that, go ahead and jam with Keke Palmer and Crystal Waters in this year’s campaign video below.
