Coco Jones is in a festive mood this Christmas. The Soul Train Award-winning Best New Artist just released her second holiday song of the season and third overall with her newest jingle jam “A Timeless Christmas.” Co-written with Tiyon “TC” Mack and produced by Johnny “JT” Thomas Jr., Coco warms our hearts and gives us the perfect how-to for making forever memories this Christmas.
The track’s lyrics paint an idyllic scene that sparks nostalgia for the joys of Christmases past. “Snowflakes falling / It’s that time of year / ’Tis the season / Spreading joy and cheer / Fire’s glowing and the lights are bright,” she sings as she takes in the sights of the season.
With her soulful alto, Jones conjures visions of falling snow outside our windows, warm fireplaces and chill quality time with loved ones. “Children dream of gifts underneath the tree / Smiles on their face / Full of pure glee / Friends and family are near / Sharing memories so dear,” she sings of the anticipation and excitement this Christmas will bring.
Jones brings her message home in the song’s chorus. “Cherish the moment / With the people that surround you / Live in the moment today / Let’s have a timeless Christmas / Let’s just come together in harmony as one forever,” she implores. Her recipe for a timeless Christmas is simple: be present and in the moment. Say less, Coco! We will be taking that advice.

This latest holiday song follows her cover of Destiny’s Child’s “8 Days Of Christmas” for Apple Music’s 2023 Carols Covered series and her rendition of “Silver Bells” for Def Jam Recordings’ Def The Halls compilation last year.
