It may be after Labor Day, but it’s time to get your white fits together to go see Frankie Beverly And Maze live in concert. You’ll want to match Frankie Beverly’s fly – and trust us, he is always fly in his crisp, all-white ensembles – when he ventures out with his long-time group Maze on their upcoming I Wanna Thank You Tour.
The trek begins in November and will run through April 2024. There are a dozen dates scheduled across the U.S., with the group hitting numerous major markets. The I Wanna Thank You Tour rolls out on November 3rd with the kick-off concert in New Orleans. They have three additional dates on the calendar for the remainder of 2023, including two with fellow living legends The Isley Brothers in Hampton and Atlantic City.
Frankie Beverly And Maze will take the holidays off to spend time with their loved ones before they return to the road in January, moving on up to arenas for the remainder of dates. The I Wanna Thank You Tour will pull up to Oakland on January 13th then travel to Los Angeles, Charlotte, D.C., Newark, Atlanta and Houston. The last date of the tour is April 26th, coming to its conclusion in Chicago.
“We had such a great time playing at the New Orleans Jazz Fest last spring and that concert was sold out,” Frankie Beverly stated in a press release. “So we decided to start our new tour in the Crescent City for those who missed us earlier this year and go from there.”
Like many legacy artists, Frankie Beverly And Maze are still selling out shows, and we suspect that will be the case on this concert tour, too. The group that brought us classics like “Joy And Pain,” “Golden Time Of Day” and the ubiquitous “Before I Let Go” has a loyal fanbase who love them and really love seeing them perform.
