It’s said that all good things must come to an end, and in the case of the good thing that is Usher’s Las Vegas residency, the superstar is ready to wrap it up. He has had his fun, entertained thousands and made numerous headlines since kicking off his Usher: My Way The Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in July 2022. After extending the residency a few times, he’s finally ending it this December but not before the addition of a dozen new dates.
Once he takes his talents to Europe for his Rendez-Vous Á Paris residency in September, Usher will resume his Vegas residency shortly thereafter for his previously announced October shows. The King Of R&B plans to go out on top with the addition of 10 new dates in November and two dates in December. The final show of his historic Vegas run will take place on Saturday, December 2nd.

Numerous presales are also before then. A presale for Citi cardmembers will take place between Friday, August 18th at 10 a.m. PT until Thursday, August 24th at 10 p.m. PT. Usher will have an exclusive fan presale for members of his text community beginning Friday, August 18th at 12 p.m. PT through Thursday, August 24th at 10 p.m. PT. With the release of three singles – the scandalous slow jam “GLU,” the relatable track “Good Good” and the flirtatious “Boyfriend” (with its nostalgic and petty video starring Keke Palmer) – it’s clear that Usher is in album promo mode right now. The oft-delayed project doesn’t have a title (although it’s rumored to be named Confessions 2) or a release date, but trust and believe that it’s on its way. The end of the Usher: My Way The Vegas Residency signals that he’s ready for what’s next – and so are we.
