SZA Reminds Us Why We Shouldn't Sleep On Her In ‘Snooze’

SZA sent out a message to the world when her sophomore set SOS reigned at the top of the charts after its December release. She had even more success with the set’s biggest hit “Kill Bill” and its chart-topping run earlier this year. But that wasn’t all she had in the chamber, as the set’s Babyface-produced jam “Snooze” has become another fan favorite. Now the first lady of TDE is back with a cameo-filled video for the track.

She cozies up to a multicultural cadre of men throughout the song’s nearly five-minute runtime. We see the R&B femme fatale chilling on the mattress with Justin Bieber, getting sexy on the couch with The New Edition Story’s star Woody McClain, hanging out among the haystacks with Beef’s Young Mazino and serving super producer Benny Blanco fries in the freakiest way possible. When she’s not making these fellas drool and lose their minds, she’s throwing on a sparkly, high-cut leotard and making an android blow his circuits.

With all that titillation going on, we almost don't expect the sweet moment that comes at the song’s end. We won’t reveal who the final fella who ends up with the singer is, but we will reveal that the sweet moments are scored by a previously unreleased track believed to be entitled “OD.” The song is expected to be one of the 10 bonus tracks that will feature on a planned deluxe edition of SOS to arrive later this year.

The “Snooze” visual is definitely enough to make us sit up in our seats. See if it has the same effect on you when you press play.
