Chris Brown dropped a Song of Summer ’23 contender when he released his single “Summer Too Hot” right as the season began. Now that we’re on the back end of summer, Breezy finally quenches his fans’ collective thirst and delivers the long-awaited music video for the song. Of course, Chris gives the people what they want in the visual: lots of dancing.
Director Christian Breslauer brings the vision for “Summer Too Hot” to life on the hottest day of the year. A radio announcer is overheard urging people to stay inside as they ignore the news and fill the streets. Brown is amongst them, and he spots a curly-haired cutie giving him the eye while she walks by. That look is all he needs to spring into action with his boys. It’s on from there as they join him to hit some slick choreography.
While Brown and his crew beat their feet in the sunshine-filled streets, he exhibits some magical powers and turns items to water just by looking at or touching them. Chris goes inside to cool off, but he doesn’t cool things down, finding a new girl crew to dance with. While inside, he sees the pretty young thing who first caught his eye and follows her out of the spot back to the streets. He breaks out into additional choreo with even more dancers and transforms into water himself without missing a step or losing the girl.
Since dropping “Summer Too Hot,” Chris Brown has since announced that his eleventh studio album is on the way. Entitled 11:11, the project will feature 11 tracks and possibly be released on November 11th. We don’t know if “Summer Too Hot” is the album’s lead single or just a loosie, but expect way more Chris Brown as the season’s change.
