We’ve been under the spell of singer Alina Baraz ever since she stepped on the scene alongside producer Galimatias to bring us their hypnotic “Fantasy” in 2014. Since then, she’s stepped out solo to deliver on her promise with projects such as her debut It Was Divine and EPs The Color Of You, Sunbeam and Moongate. Now she’s giving us a preview of what’s next with her newest single “Keep Me In Love.”

“Keep Me In Love” finds Alina collaborating with producers Dante Jones (of THEY. fame) and Sol Was. They keep her laced in the mesmerizing sound we’ve come to know and love the singer for, with haunting melodies and echoing vocal distortion wrapped around the subtle shuffle of drums. The sound makes it easy to fall under Alina’s sway as she commands her lover to match her energy and keep the flame burning through every moment.

She lays out her want for more than just a surface-level relationship, eventually spelling it all out on the chorus as she sings, “I want someone, someone who gets me / Gets me the world, I need to believe / That there is someone, someone to keep me / Keep me in love, I need it for me / I need it for me, for me.”

Alina Baraz has done it again, and “Keep Me In Love” has us eager to hear what else she has in store. Join us in anticipation when you listen to her latest below.
