Victoria Monét has her sights set on making Summer 2023 hers. She’s well on her way with back-to-back-to-back jams “Smoke,” “Party Girls” and “On My Mama,” which have all landed the singer-songwriter in heavy rotation. She’ll continue to set the season off with the official announcement of her next project JAGUAR II’s release date and its cover art reveal.
JAGUAR II will land on Friday, August 25th and is available now for pre-save/pre-order on numerous digital music services. Fans are sure to pounce on the highly anticipated sequel to 2020’s JAGUAR that gave us the new classics “Moment” and “We Might Even Be Falling In Love.”
The new album will house a total of 11 tracks. Victoria hasn’t unveiled the complete tracklist yet, but the Lucky Daye-featuring “Smoke” will open the project. It will have extensive production by her partner in crime D’Mile who’s produced or co-produced all of the JAGUAR II singles released thus far.
The album’s cover art features a striking photograph of Monét emerging from a dark body of water. Her face is partially submerged with only her eyes and blonde bust down visible against the starry night sky.
More details about JAGUAR II are to come, but Victoria Monét season has begun. Circle August 25th on your calendars and join us in waiting impatiently for the day to come. While you wait, watch the sultry songstress embody the spirit of a rare black jaguar in the JAGUAR II sneak preview below.
