Oh me, oh my! Our girl Mýa is marking 25 years in the game this year. The then-18-year-old singer made her way onto the scene way back in 1998 with her self-titled debut and its smoking hot lead single and visual “It’s All About Me.” She’s gone on to an amazing career ever since, but she doesn’t mind taking a look back to celebrate such a huge milestone. She does just that with a new, reimagined take on her debut video that better fits the grown woman she is today.

The singer tapped famed choreographer Brian Friedman to help her bring the visual into the new century as both choreographer and director. Friedman, whom she worked with for major moments like her “My Love Is Like...Wo” video, her portion of the Janet Jackson MTV Icon dance tribute and the fierce “Whatever B***h” dance break on Pepsi Smash, gives her a sizzling hot heels choreography moment for the occasion. We see Miss Mýa on a soundstage dimly lit with blue, red and purple light as she seductively moves and grooves to an updated version of the song that sounds almost like a live mix.

The 43-year-old makes it all happen while keeping things sexy in a form-fitting black leotard and sexy black boots, showing that age is never a factor as she moves almost better than she did two-and-a-half decades ago. She’s still got all the dips, flips and swerves in her arsenal and proves it by gliding across the space with ease while flinging her long, raven-hued hair like a woman on a mission.

We don’t know about y’all, but we want to be just like Mýa when we grow up. Help her celebrate 25 years strong by watching her do her thing like only she can in the video below.
