We knew that Reggie Becton could croon. We also knew that he could write the hell out of a song. But did we know that he could bust a move? The singer-songwriter has been holding back on us, it seems. However, he’s done hiding his other talents as he showcases his dance skills in the video for his latest single “Life.”
“Life” was definitely giving us romance vibes, but the groove of it was easy to move to. Reggie was also apparently feeling that concept, and he tapped choreographer Cherry to help him out in that department. The dancer whipped together a sensual choreographed routine for two and even plays the love interest in the clip.
It starts with the camera solely focused on Reggie, but it soon pans to Cherry as the two begin to move in tandem. The camera constantly pans around the pair, showing us every angle of the routine and just how smooth and effortless they make everything look. They also make it look damn sexy, with plenty of moments where the two bump and grind like two lovers in lockstep.
Like all good things, the video for “Life” eventually comes to an end. Though we hate to see it go, it does manage to up our respect level for Reggie Becton even more and has us wondering what his album SadBoy will be bringing when it arrives later this year.
