Kenyon Dixon has made it his mission to create the “R&B you love,” and he’s been doing an excellent job. Look no further than his latest single “Slow Dancing” featuring Kincy with its authentic ’80s R&B meets ’90s R&B sound. Kenyon keeps the nostalgia flowing in the song’s music video.
Dixon turns the clock back a little more to find his inspo from the 1970s in the visual directed by Kourage Flores of Favor Films. He invites us to an old-school house party turned jam session with a few of his musician friends, including Kincy on keys and talkbox. Some of the decor and fashions are straight outta the Me Decade, but here it’s all about Kenyon, his lady and his people having a good time.
R&B Kenny may be giving mack daddy vibes in his luxurious fur coat, but he only has eyes for his leading lady played by actress GG Townson. Whether lounging together on the couch, stealing away from the crowd for some alone time or busting a smooth move with their friends on the dance floor, their chemistry jumps off the screen and the romance feels real.
