J. Cole will roll out the red carpet to musicians and music lovers once again to welcome everyone to Raleigh, North Carolina when the Dreamville Festival returns there on Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd. The rapper, producer, Dreamville Records founder and proud North Carolinian won’t just be on the welcoming committee, however. Cole will be one of many artists to take the stage at the two-day music festival that features a dope lineup across genres.
Day one of Dreamville Festival 2023 will be headlined by one of the hardest-working men in R&B right now, Usher. Leading up to his closing performance will be a full day of fire. On the R&B tip will be the first lady of Dreamville Ari Lennox, Jessie Reyez and SiR. On the hip-hop/rap side of things, there’ll be Lil Durk, City Girls, EARTHGANG, Key Glock, Lute, Omen and Marqus Clae. There will even be some global flavor hitting the stage courtesy of Jamaican dancehall star Sean Paul and Nigeria’s Victony.
The international vibes will continue on day two with a headlining set from Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy. Sunday night’s festival festivities will also feature a rare performance by J. Cole with special guest Drake. The multi-talented rappers won't be the only rhyme spitters taking the stage that day, with JID, GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flocka Flame, Cozz and Reuben Vincent on the bill. Rounding things out will be singers Summer Walker, Mario, Ayra Starr, Baby Tate and Jordan Ward.
Dreamville Festival 2023 is sounding like a sure thing for a good time. The festival will happen the first weekend in April at historic Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh. In addition to all the performances, Dreamville Festival boasts family-friendly activities, a vendor village and food trucks, and attendees will be able to party with a purpose with a portion of the proceeds scheduled to be donated to the Dreamville Foundation and Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy.
