Broccoli City Festival 2023 is making moves – the biggest of which is a move from its usual date in spring to a new date in the middle of summer. To avoid the unpredictable springtime weather in Washington, D.C., Broccoli City Festival organizers have decided to relocate it to July and the festival will be stepping it hotter this year.

Scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, July 15th and Sunday, July 16th, Broccoli City Festival 2023 will once again take place at the RFK Festival Grounds near Capitol Hill. Always known for its diverse roster of talent, this year boasts a lit lineup of contemporary artists across genres.

On the R&B tip, the energy will be high all weekend. The R&B girlies will be in full effect with Jazmine Sullivan, Chlöe, Coco Jones and Mariah The Scientist on the bill. Holding it down for the R&B dudes will be Brent Faiyaz, who’ll return home to the DMV to headline Sunday during a performance that will be quite a homecoming.

D.C.’s homegrown go-go sound will get a lot of shine during Broccoli City Festival 2023. There will be a Battle Of The Bands that will showcase the talents of Backyard Band, UCB, TCB, Reaction Band, TOB and Sirius Company and totally set the festival off.

Also setting things off and rocking the mic will be a boatload of rappers. Attendees can expect to see performances by Lil Uzi Vert, City Girls, Ice Spice, Saucy Santana, Finesse2tymes, TiaCorine and OG Bobby Billions on Saturday and Kodak Black, GloRilla, Lola Brooke, Fat Trel, LaRussell and Tre’ Amani on Sunday.

Broccoli City Festival 2023 wouldn’t be complete without some sounds from the Motherland, which will be provided by Nigerian Afrobeats artists Rema and Asake. Rounding things out will be hosts Little Bacon Bear and Mouse Jones and DJ sets by Jae Murphy, Everything Nice and DJ Flow.
