Daniel Caesar has started this year with back-to-back singles “Do You Like Me?” and “Let Me Go.” As we suspected, the rapid releases are a sign of much more to come with the announcement of his third studio album NEVER ENOUGH. The project will be released on Republic Records this April.
The “Best Part” singer-songwriter hasn’t shared any additional information about the forthcoming collection, such as its tracklist or cover art. He did, however, drop a brief, artistically-shot trailer that will leave you with more questions about the album than answers. The video included the caption, “Blue again… But not for long,” which only added to the mystery.
Caesar has been creeping up on a comeback since April 2022 when he dropped the single “Please Do Not Lean” featuring BADBADNOTGOOD, which went on to be nominated for a Juno Award. Earlier in the year, the GRAMMY Award winner was up for a few more GRAMMYs alongside Justin Bieber and Givēon for their hit single “Peaches.”
NEVER ENOUGH follows Daniel Caesar’s classic 2017 debut Freudian and his 2019 sophomore album CASE STUDY 01. The album will hit the streets on Friday, April 7th and is currently available for pre-save/pre-order.
Watch the NEVER ENOUGH album trailer and an equally curious visual that Daniel dropped in January entitled “Brutus Embarks” below to see if you can fit these puzzle pieces together.
