Babyface continues to be the man, and he is apparently in high demand at the moment. The veteran hitmaker just released his new solo single “As A Matter Of Fact,” and he’s been riding high on the success of his previous effort Girls Night Out — which features collaborations with some of the hottest chicks in the R&B game. The album has garnered so much attention that he recently released an extended version of the compilation that adds two new songs. He’s also revisiting the set’s original tracklist with a video for the Ari Lennox duet “Liquor.”
The clip puts most of the focus on Ari, and rightfully so. She plays the entertainment at a lounge and makes sure that all eyes are on her. She commands everyone’s attention thanks to a jaw-dropping white dress dripping in sequins that fits her like a glove. She slinks around the stage in the white-hot number, giving us chocolate Jessica Rabbit vibes in the process.
She’s soon working the crowd as she walks through the audience to flirt with patrons and pick up her poison of choice from Babyface, who plays his role as the venue’s bartender while offering his own verse into the mix as the chaser to Ari’s intoxicating brew. Lennox soon finds her prey for the evening and takes him back with her as she exits the stage.
This clip definitely has us thirsty for more.
