After months of teasing, 1-800-Hit-Eazy: Line 2 — the second collaborative album from crooner Eric Bellinger and producer Hitmaka — is almost upon us. The singer has been teasing us for months with his singles “BNB” and “Obsession” (along with its Muni Long-featuring remix). As he preps to go on tour, Eric Bellinger gives us another listen to the anticipated project with his latest single “Decide.”

“Decide” follows a similar formula as the previous releases, with Eric shooting his shot to get closer to a young lady. This time, however, things are a bit more complicated. It seems that the lady he’s interested in has another man in the picture. Eric’s not taking that for an answer, though, as he puts the onus on her.

“I didn’t know you had a man / I’m sorry / I didn’t know he was that important / You done had me pull up way too often / Decide right now,” he demands on the chorus. Helping his plea is slick production from Hitmaka that is heavy on the airy synth, hi-hats and snaps along with a smooth looped sample to balance out the melody.

“Decide” isn’t the strongest offering we’ve heard from 1-800-Hit-Eazy: Line 2, but it’s not too shabby either. We’re sure there will be more jams to come when the set arrives. Listen to Eric Bellinger make his romantic ultimatum when you press play and make sure to pre-order the set before its February 10th release date.
