It's Chlöe time! Almost two years after dropping her debut solo single “Have Mercy” – and a steady stream of singles since – Chlöe Bailey is finally ready to release her debut solo album entitled In Pieces. The project is due in March and, true to form, the R&B starlet made quite a bold statement with its announcement.

Across her social media platforms, the elder member of Chloe x Halle posted a short teaser video that sent her fans into a frenzy. Adorned in a shiny red gown that fit like a second skin and showed some of hers, Chlöe can be seen staring into the camera as it pans out to reveal her revealing outfit against a black background. With her arms outstretched, she holds a gold scale in each hand. On one side is what appears to be a golden human heart while what looks like a gold bomb is on the other side as she carefully balances them both.

Chlöe accompanied the visual feast with an audio treat, sharing a snippet of an unreleased new song. “Wear my heart on my sleeve / They all say I’m naive / But it’s better than nothing,” she sings over the strains of a piano and harp.

No other details about the album have been shared yet, so this teaser is all we have to go on right now. It’s unknown if previous singles “Have Mercy,” “Treat Me,” “Surprise,” “Freak Like Me” and “For The Night” will find a home on In Pieces or if there’ll be any features on the project, but we’ll find out soon enough because March is only a few weeks away. The album’s exact release date is also a mystery at the moment, but just circle the entire month on your calendars. In red, of course.
