The pandemic came and stole our joy in 2020 when many of the tours on our list got canceled as Miss Rona came and shut everything down. That's especially true for Janet Jackson fans, who were promised the star's Black Diamond Tour and a new album in the summer of that year. They can dry their tears, though, as Miss Jackson has just announced that she's scheduled to hit the road next spring for her Together Again Tour and has plans to drop new tunes.

Fittingly named after her 1997 hit single "Together Again," the 33-date tour will see Janet Jackson hit almost every market in North America. She'll start her trek on April 14th in Hollywood, Florida before hitting cities such as Atlanta, St. Louis, New York, Baltimore, Toronto, Detroit, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles before wrapping things up on June 21st in Seattle. She'll also be joined by Atlanta hip-hop great Ludacris throughout the tour, which is sure to bring some interesting flavor to the whole affair.

While making the announcement on Instagram Live, the singer also answered the other burning question that was on her fans' minds. "Yes, there will be new music," she said before jokingly mocking the clamor for new music that has been building over the years.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale via Ticketmaster this Friday, December 16th, at 11 a.m. local time, with a fan presale kicking off Tuesday, December 13th at 11 a.m. local time for Citi Card members and 3 p.m. for members of her mailing list. More information about the tour can be found on her website. Peep the tour sizzle reel and the full list of dates, cities and venues when you head below.
