We're very excited to hear what Snakehips will be bringing to the table when their as-yet-untitled debut album lands in our laps next year. The duo has given us some inkling of what to expect though with the set's current singles "All Around The World" and the Tinashe-featuring "Who's Gonna Love You Tonight." The twosome is giving us a little more to vibe to by dropping the video for the dramatic video latter.
In the video, Tinashe plays the ride-or-die girlfriend for a boxer who's fallen on hard times. After suffering a defeat and a brutal injury in the ring, our girl Sweet T is right there to help him pick up the pieces and get him on the mend. Though she's giving her all, the small fractures in their love begin to show just a bit.
Still, she manages to get him back in fighting shape, eventually leading to his victory in the ring. However, Tinashe is left sitting at home watching the fight alone while he chooses groupies over the woman who loves him.
It's a heartbreaking finish to a story that we knew would end exactly this way, but it doesn't make it sting any less. Thankfully, Snakehips and Tinashe provide the perfect soundtrack for a broken heart. Get ready to get in your feels when you watch "Who's Gonna Love You Tonight" below.
