BeMyFiasco celebrated the anniversary of her debut album Where I Left You in October, and the project still has legs. Many of the songs from the album have become fan favorites, but what's become one of the most popular is her stunning ballad "U And I." The songstress heard fans' calls and decided to give the people what they want with a beautiful visual for the track.
BeMyFiasco turned to writer/director Felicia Pride to helm the video, and she came up with a gorgeous treatment. The clip begins in cinematic black and white as the songstress and her leading man Marcus Callender (of Wu-Tang: An American Saga fame) get closer among beautifully arranged sets.
The majority of the clip finds them making eyes at one another, with the couple eventually making their way to the bedroom for a few sexy-but-G-rated moments. The video then surprisingly switches to vibrant color as the two sit together hugged up, revealing not only the pale blue of BeMyFiasco's dress but the color of the love they share together.
Getting another visual from Where I Left You wasn't on our year-end wish list, but we're more than happy that BeMyFiasco graciously gave us this one. It just goes to show that good music isn't bound by the traditional album cycle. Watch the lush video for "U And I" when you press play below.
