Earlier this year, Kem embarked on a major co-headlining concert tour, and he has big plans to do it again in the new year. Only this time, instead of sharing the stage with the living legend Babyface as he did on The Full Circle Tour, Kem will be joined by lovely legend-in-the-making Ledisi on what is being dubbed The Soul II Soul Tour.
This tour is a reunion of sorts for Kem and Ledisi who previously toured together on his Intimacy Tour in 2011 and last united in song at the Soul Train Awards 2014 to perform the duet "If It's Love." The soulful pair have enough hits and album cuts between the two of them to keep audiences entertained for hours, but they're making room for another heavy hitter on the bill as the show's opening act. Musiq Soulchild will be their special guest, and he'll surely bring his deep catalog of songs with him for the cross-country journey.
The Soul II Soul Tour begins on February 9, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina, and will take the trio of artists North, South, East, West and numerous points on in between. They'll hit major U.S. cities such as Atlanta, Vegas, Los Angeles, Memphis, New Orleans, Houston and Washington, D.C. The tour will pull into a total of 24 cities and is scheduled to wrap on May 12, 2023 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
