The Farris boys are a very talented bunch. We first got to know them through the success of their brother SiR, but their talents are further exemplified by the success of rapper D Smoke and singer-songwriter Davion Farris. The two brothers teamed up to give us a smooth jam to vibe to with D Smoke's recent single "Switch Up." Now the fraternal twosome give that single a visual that takes us through a day in their lives.
The clip opens with a quote from Nipsey Hussle about the power of perseverance before showing D Smoke tickling the ivories before the beat kicks in. From there, we're taken into a scene inside the brothers' Inglewood neighborhood. We see many of their homies gathered outside as D Smoke raps and plays the role of big man in the hood. Davion is there as well, of course, as he helps punctuate his brother's lyrics with his impassioned chorus.
The scene quickly turns into a party where the clip mostly remains for the remainder of its runtime. It's a great way for their family (including SiR) and friends to make a cameo as they have a good time while eating and drinking good. Those scenes are intercut with clips of D and Davion riding through the city with a joyous zeal in a roadster. As the clip comes to its close, we get one final look at the brothers as they share an embrace and smile for the camera.
