If you look up the word "legendary" in the dictionary, you might just see a photograph of The Isley Brothers next to the entry. The soul music icons have enjoyed an illustrious career that spans decades – from the 1950s through today – and have remained relevant throughout the years. Brothers Ronald Isley and Ernie Isley are still holding it down for the family name and putting in work on and off stage, including in the studio where they spent time recording new music. That new music will soon be heard on their forthcoming new album Make Me Say It Again, Girl.

The album borrows its title from The Isley's song of the same name (minus "Pts. 1 & 2") from their 1975 album The Heat Is On. The original was never officially released as a single, but "Make Me Say It Again, Girl" has gone on to become a beloved classic from their catalog. And in August, an updated and upgraded version featuring Beyoncé got the single treatment and landed the soul brothers back on the charts with their first top 10 entry on Billboard's Adult R&B National Airplay chart since 2006.

The Isley Brothers are looking to stay there with Make Me Say It Again, Girl. In addition to Queen Bey, Ronald and Ernie will be joined by Alicia Keys, Drake, Rick Ross and Trey Songz, to name a few guest artists. Their 2021 single "Friends & Family" featuring Snoop Dogg will be included on the album, but the complete tracklist hasn't been shared yet. However, the vibrant cover has been unveiled.

The brothers look like money decked out in shades of green. Ronald is giving rich uncle energy in a fully sequined emerald green suit, while Ernie wears a silky green shirt and metallic gold and green paisley patterned pants. Known for some flashy outfits in the 1970s, the seasoned artists are bringing the razzle dazzle back to their cover art for their 32nd studio album.

The Isley Brothers are wasting no time in getting their next collection into the hands of their fans. Make Me Say It Again, Girl will be released on Friday, September 30th, making the album eligible for GRAMMY Award consideration. That evening, Ronald and Ernie will be in New York City to celebrate its arrival at their album release party at The INKwell 42 D'or Supper Club. Tickets to the affair are on sale now and the project is available for pre-save/pre-add on digital streaming services.
