Kendrick Lamar is currently making his way around the country on The Big Steppers Tour in support of his latest album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Released in May concurrently with a video for the song "N95," that's been the only track to get a visual from the project – until now. Kendrick and actress Taylour Paige bring their volatile duet "We Cry Together" to vivid life in a short film for the track.

We join the couple in their unhappy home in the midst of their no holds barred argument heard in "We Cry Together." Kendrick, in the role of "Dante S." per the name patch on his work shirt, is seated smoking a cigarette while Taylour is seen in the background in the bathroom. They take turns spitting scathing bars about each other's shortcomings meant to cut to the white meat. Neither one holds back nor backs down as they cuss one another out, hurl insults and get in each other's faces before their pain and passion climaxes.

What makes this visual so realistic and feel like an actual argument is the fact that it was shot in one take with a single camera, and Lamar and Paige delivered their lyrics live instead of lipsyncing to the album version. Directed by Jake Schreier, Dave Free and Kendrick, no camera tricks or post-production special effects were used to achieve this vision, which even incorporates a bit of a twist at the end as the lone camera pans out from the scene.

Kendrick Lamar and Taylour Paige already had us captivated with their dexterous performance of "We Cry Together" on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and continue to have us riveted with their acting in the short film. Watch the NSFW uncensored version below.
