Loyalty is a hard thing to come by. Whether it’s the family you were born into or the one you chose, you should hold on tight to the folks that stay ten toes down. On her latest single “Miss My Dawgs,” platinum-certified singer-songwriter Kaash Paige puts fake friends on notice while longing for the comfort of her core circle with an assist from 6LACK.

Kaash and 6LACK don't mince words about the haters and show love to their hittas on the Gravez and Joey XL-produced trap soul track. "You don't really f**k with me," Paige calls folks out early, while 6LACK matches her energy with the lyric, "At your big age you still hating on me." Both artists' voices are distorted with Auto-Tune, but there's no mistaking their message.

This latest release marks Kaash’s third offering this year and her second collaboration with 6LACK. Previously, the two were featured on the remix of "Love Songs," a bonus track from her 2019 debut EP Parked Car Convos. Like their previous single, they express regret over lost time with loved ones on this most recent release.

“‘Miss My Dawgs’ is just about missing family members or missing long-lost friends that you know you can’t hang out with anymore, but it can go for anything,” Paige gave some insight about the track via press release.

For the Justin Marmorstein-directed visual, they take us on a galactic voyage through outer space. We first witness Kaash traveling solo in her spacecraft before she lands on Mars. She encounters some signs of life on the Red Planet, including 6LACK who greets her with his verse.

The two reconnect and embrace in a friendly hug before he boards her spaceship and they zoom off to the next destination. No doubt the cosmic capture serves as a metaphor for the need to connect with those no longer in reach while distancing ourselves from those that don’t wish us well.
