Susan Carol isn't a household name (yet), but her voice is one you've surely heard. She's lent it to a few of your favorite singers — including BJ The Chicago Kid, Full Crate and Kenyon Dixon. The singer also has her own solo work, and she's adding to her discography with the release of her newest single "Run Me My Money."

"Run Me My Money" is a soulful, bluesy track that only involves Susan and a piano. What it lacks in instrumental accompaniment, though, it makes up for it with the singer's sheer vocal power. She riffs and runs from beginning to end. However, she still makes it clear what exactly she needs from you.

"I need my money / And I need it right now, oh right now," she sings. "If you wanna pay me / Here's a few ways how / I take Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, EBT." To make sure that her demand is heard loud and clear, she adds a backing choir to harmonize with her on that refrain while evoking the feeling of the collection plate passing through the pews at church.

Susan Carol sounds super sweet on the track. However, the way she sings this one from the gut lets us know that she ain't playing about her dollars nor is she the one to play with when it comes to her pockets. Run up "Run Me My Money" when you press play below and then give her a love offering by picking up her singles and albums from your favorite digital retailer.
