This year's music festival season has been bananas, and it's nowhere near over. As a matter of fact, one of the most anticipated music festivals – Atlanta's ONE Musicfest – doesn't pop off until October. Scheduled to take place the weekend of Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 9th, OMF may be near the end of the year but it's consistently on top. One need not look any further than the stacked lineup for ONE Musicfest 2022 for proof.
Music lovers will converge on Atlanta over Columbus Day weekend to experience a vast array of artists – over 40 in total – across R&B, hip-hop, dancehall reggae and more genres of Black music.
Women will be well-represented with many SoulBounce faves and baes on the lineup. Jazmine Sullivan, Ashanti, Victoria Monét, Tems, Mya, Tweet, Sevyn Streeter, Tank and The Bangas, Alex Isley and Lady Wray are all scheduled to grace the stage, culminating in a special performance by the one and only Ms. Lauryn Hill. Will the ladies run that mutha? Hell yeah!
The fellas are coming through strong, too, though. Lil Baby, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Ja Rule, Beenie Man, Lupe Fiasco, Jagged Edge, Doug E. Fresh (and The Chuck Brown Band), Bilal, Phony Ppl and Kenneth Whalum will all be a part of the musical festivities.
