Dance music is back in a big way this summer, with many of our faves delivering bops to fill the dance floor. Drake and Beyoncé have already had their say with their most recent albums. Next up will be producer Calvin Harris, whose Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 arrives in stores at the end of the week. The collection, like his previous effort Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, is collaborator heavy and this is exemplified by his star-studded single "New To You," which features Normani, Tinashe and Offset.

For "New To You," Calvin and crew look to the orchestral soul sound popularized by the likes of Barry White and Odyssey for inspiration. With a swaying groove, punchy stings and synths leading the way over a slick bass line, the song skates in with a long instrumental intro before we hop into the chorus.

"This might be news to you / This thing might feel new to you / But if you like everything / I think you might love me, baby," Normani sings on the chorus. Tinashe takes it from there on the initial verse, coming on strong with flirtatious lyrics as she lets it be known that she's the type to have you falling in love. Offset seems ready to take the bait on his verse as he talks about spending money on trips, flossing in expensive cars and even possibly getting vulnerable to keep her by his side.

As we slide into the second half of a sizzling summer, "New To You" just might be the perfect cool down we need as we take another twirl around the dance floor. Groove to the smooth sounds of Calvin Harris, Normani, Tinashe and Offset when you press play below, and look for Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 to hit your favorite digital retailer on Friday, August 5th.
