Jenevieve and her soft, sultry R&B sound have been making waves in music circles ever since the singer stepped onto the scene in 2020. Her 2021 debut Division contained some strong jams, including "Baby Powder" and "Nxwhere." While that set contained mostly mellow vibes, the singer proves that she can also turn up the tempo with her new cut "2NLuv."

"2NLuv" finds the singer turning once again to frequent collaborator Benziboy, who gives her a groove that starts smooth and sultry before picking up the pace with a shuffling, disco-like groove by the time the chorus come in. The song keeps up that push and pull throughout its nearly three-minute runtime as the singer describes her love hangover.

"I've been in too deep / And can't go walking away," she sings on the refrain. "My love will never sleep / Compel me." She keeps the fire burning as she demands that her baby keep talking that talk that gets her going.

The song's video is a fever dream of curated backdrops bathed in colorful light. Jenevieve strolls through them with an assured strut as she gazes wantonly at the camera and even busts a few moves. Eagle-eyed viewers will spot a cameo by Benziboy as well as several product placements for Rockstar energy drinks. That's fitting, as the track is the first single to ever be recorded at Rockstar Energy Spotlight Studios and the single's release was timed around the kickoff of the brand's Rockstar Energy Spotlight Tour, which features performances from rising stars at stops across the country.
