Earlier this month, D-Nice announced that he was not only bringing Club Quarantine back to New York City but he was bringing it to the hallowed halls of Carnegie Hall. The legendary venue will open its doors on Thursday, August 4th to D-Nice and the artists who he handpicked to join him at this edition of Club Quarantine Live, including Ashanti, Slick Rick, Jadakiss and Hezekiah Walker. That lineup was already amazing, but the people's DJ decided to up the ante with the addition of a few more legends to the mix.
Joining the aforementioned superstars will be rappers Big Daddy Kane and CL Smooth, God's favorite DJ DJ Clark Kent and comedian Chris Spencer who has been enlisted to host the glitzy, black-tie affair. Conductor Igmar Thomas and The Revive Big Band will provide the orchestral instrumentation for everyone's performances, which will make this a once-in-a-lifetime, not-to-be-missed event.
If you haven't secured your tickets to Club Quarantine Live at Carnegie Hall yet, you still have a slim chance to be in the building. The event is very close to selling out, with seats only available on the Dress Circle and Balcony levels of Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at the moment. With today's announcement and anticipation for this show at a fever pitch, these remaining tickets won't last for long. Visit the Carnegie Hall's website to purchase tickets while you can.
