As he prepares for the release of his new EP b l u r r, singer-songwriter Xavier Omär introduces us to "Tarantino" on his latest single. The artist serves fans with a summertime bop perfect for shooting your shot like Steph Curry.

Co-produced by XO's frequent collaborator Sango and Stwo, “Tarantino” paints a vivid picture of a smooth suitor gently nudging his already betrothed beauty to follow her heart – straight to him. In his signature, soulful tone and trap-style cadence, Xavier floats over the track singing, “Let’s get real / All these phone calls tell me how you feel / All these FaceTimes reveal your smile / Looks like he ain’t did that in a while.”

The song is actually inspired by his parent’s real-life love story. “This song is about my Dad trying to get at my Mom in college when she was already engaged," Xavier explained. "I wanted to step in my Dad’s shoes to tell the story in a modern way because I could never imagine that kind of confidence for myself.”

This release follows his upcoming project's lead single “Feelings 4 You,” which dropped last month. The revealing track took a page from his own romance with his wife, making it personal yet relatable. Now, as he continues to enjoy married life and settles into fatherhood, fans are set to “connect with the sonic richness and real-life emotions" on the way on b l u r r.‎
