India Shawn is never one to keep us waiting for too long. The songstress last hit us off back in November when she dropped her EP BEFORE WE GO to keep us grooving through winter and spring. Now that things are starting to heat back up, India is back with sultry new single "EXCHANGE."
For "EXCHANGE," the singer turns to the in-demand talents of D'Mile who laces her with a slow-burning groove reminiscent of D'Angelo's "Untitled (How Does It Feel)." Piano sets the melody of the song while ticking hi-hats keep the pace as India sings of a lovemaking session between lovers that is undeniably raw, intimate and pleasurable.
"Exchange / Feels good inside when we trade / It feels good when we trade pleasure / For pleasure," she sings on the ecstatic chorus. "Da-da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da / That's all I want, give me pleasure / For pleasure."
India keeps it simple and sexy in the song's video. The camera focuses on the singer and her beauty with tight close-ups on her face as she sings. Occasionally its lens ventures lower, revealing her lacy black bra and smooth, glistening legs. These glimpses don't seem to be here to titillate, though. Instead, they present a sense of sexiness and intimacy without being tawdry, matching the song's vibe perfectly.
