We first got wind that Givēon had music in the works when he dropped the single "For Tonight" last September. Word on the curb was that a project would be coming before 2021 ended, but the year came and went without one. Delayed is not denied, however, and the GRAMMY-nominated R&B superstar has finally revealed the title, cover art, release date and even a trailer for his official debut album.

Givēon has announced that his album will be entitled Give Or Take and is scheduled to arrive on Friday, June 24th. The highly-anticipated set will be his first release since his March 2021 compilation When It’s All Said And Done…Take Time, which featured his EP's TAKE TIME and When It’s All Said And Done in one deluxe package.

Give Or Take will feature all new music from the "Heartbreak Anniversary" singer, including the aforementioned "For Tonight" and his current single "Lie Again." Givēon hasn't shared the album's complete tracklist yet or if he'll be joined by any guests or in-demand producers on the project, but we're sure he'll unveil more details in the coming weeks.

He does give a smidgen of insight into Give Or Take with the album's trailer. The short-but-sweet video shows the multi-platinum artist in his deluxe apartment in the sky, looking down over LA at sunset.

A voiceover from Givēon's mother is heard while a montage of videos and photos from the past few years of his career flashes on the screen. His mother is proud of her son living his dream and is downright flabbergasted. "I really feel like this is a dream, and I'll tell you about it when I wake up," she says at the end of her poignant message, which also brings the trailer to its end.

Givēon, meanwhile, is just getting started. His debut album Give Or Take will be released on Not So Fast/Epic Records and is currently available for pre-order/pre-save.
