At this point, it's clear that songstress Chlöe is going through her sexual awakening. So far, the singer has teased and toyed with us with the booty-shaking anthem "Have Mercy" and the boldly assertive "Treat Me." Now she's done making us wait as she goes full-on sex kitten with her steamy new single "Surprise."
"Surprise" brings to mind the sound of some of Janet Jackson's sexually charged slow jams from the '90s with its slinky synth and gentle rhythm that set the mood. Chlöe brings her own flair to the proceedings, though. After making a promise to don her freaky side on the chorus, she delivers a rap-sung verse as her opening salvo.
Chlöe isn't done divulging her inner freak, either, as she keeps up the pressure on the remainder of the song, playing temptress in many ways as she erotically requests that her lover gives her that wood. Oh my!
For the song's video, the songstress plays opposite model cutie Broderick Hunter as they live out freaky scenarios in their cozy apartment. It's not all about the sex, though, as the video also shows off tender, intimate moments between the couple that eventually lead to the bedroom. Unfortunately for Broderick, the end of the video reveals that all that we saw was just a fantasy inside his head. Perhaps the knowing glance she gives him before all fades to black is a sign that his dreams may soon come true.
We're not surprised that Chlöe is once again serving up hot sex on a platter, but she is definitely turning us on. Now we just need to know when that debut album is gonna be released.
