Tink is a woman in love, and she makes sure that her man knows just how much on her new single "Cater." The Chicago native is not new to making music that helps set the mood, as we have seen before on her Heat Of The Moment LP released last summer. After collaborating with Jeremih, Davido, Yung Bleu and Kodak Black on that project, this time around she enlists 2 Chainz to help her turn the heat up.
On "Cater," Tink and 2 Chainz trade alluring lyrics detailing the ways they plan to romance their significant others on their flip of Destiny's Child's hit "Cater 2 U." Tink's real-life boyfriend (and the inspiration for this song we presume) Hitmaka is on production, and he cleverly upgrades the group’s 2005 single without distracting from the original.
Tink mesmerizes with her melodic vocals and intoxicating lyrics as she runs through the ways she plans to prove her dedication. “I'ma kiss your neck, and I'm at my best when I got you standing right here / Cook you a meal, and I washed your clothes just to show you I care,” she purrs on the first verse.
Meanwhile, 2 Chainz brings his swagger and some bragging to the track. "Put you to bed, you thought it was NyQuil / Put you to bed, you think it's Benadryl," he raps about his loving's medicinal properties. He's gonna put in work but lets his lady know that the catering needs to be reciprocal when he spits the lyrics, "Cater to me, I'ma cater to you / Cater to me, ain't telling the favors I do for you, boo."
The music video for "Cater" takes us to a soirée where 2 Chainz and Hitmaka are in attendance. Tink is a member of the catering staff, and she spices things up with the other servers when they stop to do a sexy dance routine in the middle of the event. She later gets Hitmaka alone in a dark room and becomes his private dancer, serving up sensual choreography for his eyes only.
We see you, Tink and Hitmaka. With this steamy collaboration with 2 Chainz, we cannot wait to see what’s to follow from the creative couple. After you listen to "Cater" and watch the video below, add the sultry single to your baelist playlist.
