The 2022 Billboard Music Awards were quite a spectacle. Held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, this year's annual event was hosted and executive produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs who did the absolute most during a telecast that was all over the place. Thankfully the performance of the night came early on when Silk Sonic hit the stage to perform their hit remake of Con Funk Shun's "Love Train."

Fresh from their ongoing "An Evening With Silk Sonic" residency at neighboring Dolby Live, Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars hit the stage ready for some action. The high rollers were decked out in their finest late-'70s burgundy three-piece suits with white butterfly collared shirts and Paak rocking his protective style wig. Silk Sonic looked the part and leaned into their throwback act with slick choreography and body rolls aplenty to match the song's groove, hitting their moves in unison with their background singers/dancers like seasoned soul veterans.

Silk Sonic didn't leave the BBMAs empty-handed, taking home the award for Top R&B Song for "Leave The Door Open." Bruno also won Top R&B Tour for his previous solo stint at Park MGM.

Watch Silk Sonic bring the razzle dazzle to the 2022 BBMAs with another entertaining performance below. If you'd to see more of Andy and Bruno shaking their groove thangs in polyester, their "An Evening With Silk Sonic" residency has added more dates through August 2022.
