New York City's Blue Note Jazz Festival is growing and traveling with the announcement of the Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley. This inaugural outdoor festival will happen the weekend of Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st in the heart of California wine country at the Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena. This cross-country expansion is incredible news by itself, but it's the stacked lineup of artists that will really rock your world.

For starters, Robert Glasper will be the festival's Artist-in-Residence and headliner for one of the days. The multiple GRAMMY Award-winning maestro will share the stage with special guests Erykah Badu, Ledisi, D Smoke, Terrace Martin and BJ The Chicago Kid during a set hosted by comedian extraordinaire and music aficionado Dave Chappelle.

Collaborations will happen throughout the weekend with Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli performing together as Black Star, The Soul Rebels performing with GZA and Talib and Pharoahe Monch, Daru Jones and Marcus Machado coming together as the group Th1rt3en.

This exciting new festival will feature three stages of music over its two days, and there'll be an official after party on the night of July 30th with celebrity DJs. Badu will be pulling double duty and activating her DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown persona, and the magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff will be there to move the crowd with his legendary turntable skills.

Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley is our kind of carrying on. Tickets to the festival are on sale now. However, if you're interested in attending, it would be in your best interests to buy your tickets ASAP. VIP and after party tickets have already sold out, but General Admission tickets are still available – for now.
