Joyce Wrice can currently be seen tearing up the stage as the supporting act for Lucky Daye on his Candydrip Tour. Joyce took the stage on the show to perform her latest Kaytranada-produced track "Iced Tea," which we feel already has song of the summer potential. Bathed in blue light, the curly-haired singer took center stage along with her band as they recreated the song's tight groove while serving up the feisty attitude that the song's lyrics demand.
The studio version of the song more than earned its spot on our playlists, but this live version breathes a little bit more life into the affair. This is especially true of the airier feel of the instrumentation, as the band improvises and gives Joyce a little bit more freedom in her vocal choices as well.
When she wasn't ripping up the stage, the singer also sat down with the show's host Terrell Grice to chop it up about contributing the theme for Disney+'s The Proud Family reboot while playing a hilarious game of song association.
