As she prepares for the release of her new album next week, rising star Brandy Haze blesses her growing fan base with a taste of what’s to come with her latest single "Anxious."
“Anxious” details both the butterflies and battles one must overcome before they can truly embark on new love. Over a lush and laid-back, Triple-A-produced track, the California-bred beauty sings of all the emotions associated with taking the leap from friendship to romance, even though you’re still reeling from your past.
This new single marks the first release from Brandy’s forthcoming project entitled Silhouette, Vol 2. The album comes on the heels of a rather prolific 2021 for the singer who dropped the EP Silhouette last February followed by the That’s Unfortunate EP in August. While the former featured “four sultry and seductive tracks that instantly fill the day or night with an air of nostalgia and charm,” the latter was said to be inspired by her own “tragic love life.” One can assume that her latest release will pick up where the others left off and continue to showcase her unique, soulful sound.
