We are only a few weeks away from the start of The Night Tour, which will find Maxwell and his friends Anthony Hamilton and Joe traveling from city to city crooning and leaving the ladies swooning. Before the 25-city tour kicks off in Dallas on March 2nd, Max gave fans a preview of what they can look forward to with a Valentine's Day appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Maxwell was there with his band, including regular collaborator Hod David on guitar and long-time background vocalist LaTina Webb, to perform his current single "OFF." The "Pretty Wings" singer was suited up in all black and his lush mane was done in cornrows with beads on the ends. Just as fine as he wanted to be, Maxwell sounded as good as he looked singing the sensual number on the stage he first set foot on in 1997 (when it was The Late Show With David Letterman) to perform "The Lady Suite." 25 years later, Maxwell still has our full attention.
In the event that you were getting busy with your valentine and missed Maxwell last night, you can watch him in all his glory below.
Max is heavy on the promo trail right now for both "OFF" and The Night Tour. Be sure to catch him on Good Morning America bright and early on the morning of Wednesday, February 16th for another performance of "OFF." For even more Maxwell (and Anthony Hamilton and Joe), make sure to buy tickets for The Night Tour before these shows sell out. Visit Maxwell's website or Ticketmaster to purchase.
