Kenny Lattimore proved once again that R&B is here to stay with his album titled...well...Here To Stay. The set was full of choice cuts that showcased the singer's undeniable vocal talent while also giving nods to both the classic and modern sounds of the genre. One of the songs that best exemplifies this approach, his single "Lose You," just got a stylish video treatment that focuses on the star's magnetic presence.
The majority of the clip focuses on close-ups of a dapper Kenny as he sings for the camera with a seriousness and intensity that the lyrics make necessary. As he sings of his commitment to never let his woman down, he makes it feel as if he's having a conversation with the viewer as he promises to never do anything that would cost him his love. As the song comes to a close, the focus and scene changes as he works in a bit of choreography to the song's groove. That's when the video's costar finally steps into the frame as she moves sexily to the beat in silhouette.
"The vision was to give the viewer a moody cinematic visual focusing on the powerful lyrics of a man reassuring his love for his woman," Kenny Lattimore and the video's director Eboni J. said of the clip.
